CONSIDERATIONS

Think about...

 

WHO:     Subject, Recipient, Audience

               Who is it about?  Who is it for?  Who will be seeing the show?

WHAT:    Format

                DVD, Memory Stick or card, PC file, MAC, Youtube Video

WHERE:  Venue, Presentation

                Where will the show be viewed the first time - Banquet room, living room?

                Where will it be viewed over time - Home computer, tablet, cell phone, on-line?

WHY:      Occassion, Mood

                What's the event?

                How should the show feel - sentimental, silly, happy, nostalgic, respectful?

WHEN:   Due Date

                When do you need the finished show?

 

DO's & DON'Ts

DON'T use printed copies of digital photos.

DO use the original, digital file.

 

DON'T be concerned about using delicate or old photographs.  Extra care is taken of these.

DO remove them from frames, if possible, first.

 

DON'T worry if you're not sure what music to use.

DO let us make a recommendation based on your photos and the specific occasion. 

PHOTOS

Q.  What format works best for digital photos?

A.   JPG's, the higher the resolution, the better.

 

Q.  How many pictures should I provide?

A.   The more the better.  The music and pace of the show will dictate how many can fit but it's best

to have as many to work with as possible.

 

Q:  What information is needed regarding the pictures?

A:   Put the pictures in chronological order if possible and indicate if any are of special significance.
